Green Spark Receives Funding for Digital Innovation

Superfast South Yorkshire Connection and Innovation Vouchers Scheme provide eligible SMEs with funding to improve their broadband connections and/or introduce digital innovations into the business.

Green Spark provides environmental management and pollution control services, which includes field-based activity and back office management.  The business required a bespoke CRM system and phone/ tablet application that fit the requirements of the business, including client management, campaign and sales tracking and field team management.  These systems needed to be used remotely by field staff and work with office-based systems.  In addition, an online client portal was required to allow customers to log jobs and receive updates online; providing customers with job information and history.

The aim of the project was to provide job management software, including issuing jobs to field engineers and streamlining the data capture process from site works, to make job completion more efficient.  The project was designed to improve standards through compliance of business process.  The system implementation improved the quality of works due to greater control of the process and increased efficiency of works completion reports, saving around 20 hours a week of labour.  This allows for greater analysis and visibility of management information, providing a platform for fast paced business growth.

Green Spark has received funding from The Sheffield City Region European Regional Development fund (ERDF), part of the European Structural Investment Fund (ESIF) portfolio 2015 to 2020.
